Catch the holiday bus December 3rd - 31st
Gold Coast Transit District (GCTD) with support from Montecito Bank & Trust and Rubberneck Signs is excited to announce the second annual appearance of its popular “Elf on the GO” holiday bus. The 40-foot festively decorated bus will make surprise appearances on randomly selected routes in Oxnard, Ventura, Port Hueneme and Ojai from December 3rd through December 31st.
This year’s “Elf on the GO” is better and brighter than ever! With a highly visible full bus wrap, onlookers will be thrilled to see elves on board the bus happily making toys, wrapping presents and hanging lights. Some elves are even playfully peeking through the windows inviting folks to hop on board where they will find hundreds of twinkling lights, decorations and holiday music. Passengers will also be surprised with random visits from GCTD and Montecito Bank & Trust “elves” bringing cheer, bearing candy canes and posing for “sELFies.” Passengers are encouraged to take pictures, tag #ElfontheGO and post to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for a chance to win goodies and prizes.
"Last year was our first time bringing “Elf on the GO” to the communities we serve,” commented Steve Brown, Gold Coast Transit District’s General Manager. “It was a huge success and this year is sure to bring even more cheer and smiles thanks in no small part to Montecito Bank & Trust and Rubberneck Signs. They are wonderful community partners and supporters of public transit.”
“Montecito Bank & Trust is excited about our Elf on the GO debut! It’s a fun and memorable way to bring the spirit of the holidays to multiple communities, every day, as we work to make the communities we serve better places to live and work,” stated George Leis, Montecito Bank & Trust President and Chief Operations Officer.
