April 28, 2011- GOLD COAST TRANSIT (GCT) will hold a public hearing on the proposed FY 2011-2012 Operating and Capital Budget.   The proposed FY 2011-12 Operating Budget incorporates phase two of a two-step fare increase adopted by the GCT Board of Directors in 2009 after receiving input at a public hearing.


This public hearing on the FY 2011-2012 Operating and Capital Budget will take place at the location indicated below.

June 1, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.

Oxnard, California  93030

The GCT Board of Directors will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on June 1 2011 at 10:00 a.m. During the June meeting the Board will convene this public hearing.

Interested parties may submit their comments concerning the budget under consideration prior to June 1st by mail to GCT Administration Office at the above address, by fax (487-3532), by This email address is being protected from spambots. After public comments have been considered, the GCT Board of Directors will consider adoption of a final Operating and Capital Budget at the June 1, 2011 meeting.  Copies of the proposed budget are available for public inspection at the GCT offices and here:
