Services for Senior Citizens & Passengers with Disabilities
Bus Service
All GCT buses are equipped to accommodate wheelchairs and three-wheel scooters that comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines. Most GCT buses are newer low-floor models with fold-out ramps for wheelchair access. Older high-floor buses have traditional wheelchair lifts. If you need to use the ramp or lift to board the bus, the driver will assist you. When boarding the bus, please back on to the lift for your safety, if possible. All Gold Coast Transit buses are capable of kneeling for easier boarding at the front door.
