New Year, New Fare Policies!

Be sure you're holding the correct fare! As of January 2, 2014, only magnetic-stripe passes are accepted on board GCT buses.

December 31, 2013 was the last day paper punch-card passes were accepted on board. However, you can exchange your unused or partially used passes at GCT's Customer Service Center until June 30th, 2014.  Please note, fare media purchased or obtained before the last fare increase of August 21, 2011 will not be exchanged or refunded. 

Aside from GCT’s tickets and passes, passengers can also use the following:
  • GoVentura Smartcard
  • VCTC Tokens
  • CSU-CI Smarcard


Valid Transfers:

  • GCT's magnetic-stripe transfer
  • Vista paper transfer
  • Ojai Trolley paper transfer
  • Metrolink tickets and monthly passes (validity will be verified by GCT bus operator)
