Real Time Bus Information Now Available At Your Fingertips
(Oxnard, CA) - Gold Coast Transit, along with other Ventura County transit agencies, will now have the ability to update riders using a new free iPhone application. Smart Ride, available as a free download on the Apple App Store, is providing real-time bus information for Gold Coast Transit, Camarillo Area Transit, Moorpark Transit, Simi Valley Transit, Thousand Oaks Transit, and VISTA.
“With the use of new and innovative mobile applications such as these, we are pleased to have the ability to share critical information with our riders”, said Steven P. Brown, GCT’s General Manager. “This is a great tool for our passengers that will allow them to easily and conveniently navigate through the county’s transit systems”.

Gold Coast Transit provides safe, responsive, convenient, efficient, and environmentally responsible fixed-route bus and paratransit public transportation that serves the diverse needs of the cities of Ojai, Oxnard, Port Hueneme and Ventura, and in the unincorporated County areas between the cities.
