Gold Coast Transit Bus Service Is Fully Restored

Gold Coast Transit (GCT) is pleased to announce that as of Friday morning all bus service has been fully restored as all bus operators began once again reporting for duty.

“We are very pleased that full bus service is now available to all of our passengers. It has been a week of many uncertainties and we are appreciative to our passengers for their patience and understanding”, stated Steve Brown, GCT’s General Manager.

GCT continues to update the list of routes and trips that are not operating, on Facebook and via Twitter (@GoldCoastBus) several times daily. Passengers may also call 805-487-4222, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

In light of this restoration of service, the Customer Service Center will continue with its normal business hours and will remain closed on Saturday and Sunday, reopening on Monday at 7am.

Gold Coast Transit is a joint powers transit agency governed by a Board of Directors made up of an elected official from each member jurisdiction – Cities of Ojai, Oxnard, Port Hueneme and Ventura and the County of Ventura.
