Proper Identification Required for Discounted Fare Categories
When boarding the bus, you must show the driver the correct type of ID for the Youth, Senior, Medicare and Disabled fare categories. The acceptable forms of ID are listed in the Fare table above.
SCAT Disability ID
Click on the link for the application in English or Spanish in PDF format. The form must be completed by your physician or case worker and returned to the SCAT Customer Service Center to receive your photo ID (directions & map).
Senior Citizens 75+
The 75+ program is for senior citizens 75 years of age or older. With the 75+ photo I.D. card you ride free Monday-Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm and all day on weekends and holidays. Simply stop by the SCAT Customer Service Center (directions & map) at the Oxnard Transportation Center and present proof of age. You will receive your I.D. immediately.

The Go Ventura Smartcard, is great for transit riders who use multiple bus systems in Ventura County. You can purchase a single monthly pass that is good on all participating bus systems or you can put money into an electronic-purse account and the appropriate fare (minus a 10% discount) will be deducted for each system. When you board a bus, simply tap the card on the reader device and your fare is recorded.
